Brauvin acquired five Burger King properties located in Michigan and Wisconsin for an aggregate purchase price of $8,512,000. The properties are leased on a long term basis to Cave Enterprises Operations, LLC, the sixth largest Burger King franchisee (“Cave”). Cave operates 135 restaurants throughout the Midwest. Cave is based in Chicago and has been a Burger King franchisee since 1999.

Burger King (“BK”) is the world’s second largest fast food hamburger restaurant chain as measured by total number of restaurants. As of December 31, 2018, BK owned or franchised a total of 17,796 BK restaurants in more than 100 countries and U.S. territories.
